Dear Griffin,

WHITEKKE

9th June, 1914. 160

I think your office still has the

papers of Miss C. E. Gordon who was recommended

on 30th March for appointment as an Assistant

Mistress in Hong Kong, and who afterwards

failed to pass the medical examination,

Would

you kindly return them to this office, if you

have got them,” We should be glad also to know,

if possible, the nature of Miss Gordon's failure

in the medical test, so that we may be able to

judge whether she would do for a post in a better

climate than that of Hong Kong.
